God Appeared in the Flesh

The day that Logos became incarnate, God entered man for the first time.
That day, looking into the manger for animals and seeing its Creator there, the whole universe gasped in awe, “How can this be?!” Great is the mystery of godliness! God entered man leaving the door ajar behind Him so that after thirty something years, man first entered God through the same door from the other end.
Jesus had always been the Son of God, but at a certain point in history, He also became the Son of Man. And the most amazing thing is that He will remain forever the Son of Man. A part of us lives in Him.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin”.
Heb. 4:15 ESV

By allowing man to live in Himself, God thus opened the way for Himself to subsequently live in man.

Just as He is sealed in man, man is sealed in Him, because how else can man be His image and likeness? This is a two-way road. Only
because God became human, can man be deified.
Am I saying that when God entered man, His nature changed and became more “humanized”? Of course not. We had always been in Him, and He always understood us. We just were not aware of this. He took on flesh to become more accessible to our understanding and trust. Just like a loving father who kneels in front of his one-year-old, makes funny sounds, does funny things, gently hugs and kisses him and pats a bump on his head to become more accessible to his child’s love and trust.

And then ... Then, He allowed us to crucify Him to wide open the door that was ajar ...
